Our Hearts & Prayers Extend Out To Luz & The Garcia Giraldez Familia. May God Be w/ this Wonderful Lady, Mother, Mother In Law & Grandmother.

All politics aside.......when prayers are needed...............

May Jesus and His Father Be with Juan & Denise Garcia for her mom and Juan's Mother In Law.

We will be praying for you Luz!!!!!!!!!

***************************************************************************
A mere request that God will heal has no power to gain more of the divine presence than is always at hand."

Lord Jesus,
I come with the leper's boldness
repeating his prayer:
"If you wish, you can make me clean."

Banished from home, family and friends,
he shouldered his way through the crowd
shrinking before him,
afraid and revulsed by his condition.
Yet you welcomed him, O Lord.

I pray his simple prayer,
and I remember too that prayer you spoke
in your aloneness in Gethsemani.

"Father, if you will,
let this cup pass from me."
Help me find peace and strength
in your holy will, O God.
Amen.

Remember the Cucuy vs Two Fer adversarial relationship and how the perpetuated is perpetuated

VS.

A few observations before we dig in:

Remember the Cucuy vs Two Fer adversarial relationship and how the perpetuated is perpetuated; carried out with the Police Union as the activating medium, a means to an end if you are Rene Rodriguez.

Remember when the CCCT printed the Capelo Transcript with TWO FER asking the questions?
Q: Do you know, sir, whether or not you aided and -- you were aided and abetted by Rene Rodriguez in depriving Citgo of its honest service of its lawyer -- you, sir, whether you sold out -- you sold out to Rene Rodriguez?

A I did not.

Q You did not sell out. Have you ever heard the word in Spanish called "Vendido", V-E-N-D-I-D-O?

A Yes, I have.

Q And that's what you are, right, sir, a "Vendido"?

A No, I think that was -- the term was used for you and your family during the senatorial race.

Q Yes, sir. Yes, sir. That's what you are, right?

A No, that's not.

Q Yes, sir.

A I think that's one of the reasons why you're so upset.

Q I'm upset because I cannot stand a corrupt lawyer like you, sir.

Another intangible that undoubtedly figures in, is the position of Commander David Torres and the position he took questioning the integrity of some of his superiors and subjective investigations within the department; "In his suit, CCPD Commander David Torres claims he was the victim of retaliation after he raised questions about some investigations and some actions by his superiors".
Commander Torres says his problems began with the investigation into allegations that some officers were using their position to buy vehicles out of the impound lot. He claims he began looking into those allegations, and for his trouble, he ended up being named a suspect.
From outside the arena and upon watching and listening to Commander Torres, it appears he has not a conflict with the impound lot players as he is most troubled over the actions by his superiors.

No doubt, one of the Officers caught up in the impound lot overstep is a very charismatic and influential leader within the rank and file. No doubt Bryan Smith would breath easier with the threat removed. Commander Torres is the scapegoat here in this scenario. Who wanted the charismatic officer gone more, Torres or Chief Smith?

Now, with Celis, (and I dont give a damn about defending him, he is a big boy and can take care of himself); with Cucuy YANQUI'ing Celis, it is about bringing in the DRAMA factor, the intrigue and following the path to strongarm and dismember our Nueces Democratic Party so as to hijack & control a ready made party structure for themselves. So by bringing in Celis he helps the Republican ticket or so they believe. It is truly "whore-iffic" when one YANQUIS his own Culture worse than the MAN himself. Rene Rodriguez, Terry Shamsie, Jaime Capelo, and the like are aligned for the time being with the Mamons De La Solomons.

Last night after the 10 o'clock news we received several calls, some of our community leaders and from both sides of the aisle. Only one went on the record, American GI Forum Joe A Ortiz reasoned it out this way, he said it was wrong to drag Celis back out in the public eye! why did he do it he didnt need to do that?

In my response to Joe My feelings for Mr Celis and his SNAFU are far outweighed by the community's good and I was not going to defend him because we (@Los Kenedenos) had already given him the opportunity to shelter underneath our umbrella. So anyway, Joe says to me it is not about defending Celis (he is a big boy) it is just how Cucuy used one of his own culture to disparage and create a circus like atmosphere. I concur in that from a Civil Rights POV and with the progress we work so hard to exemplify Rene went out and did the very thing we ask everyone else to refrain from; he YANQUI'D another Mejicano and in doing so strikes a blow to our Nueces Democratic Party and possibly touching the run for the oval office. Fwd: Danny Brooks, Senior Vice President & CFO of Value Bank.

Just a few minutes ago we have learned the meeting between CCISD Executives & Advocates who are pursuing Justice for Carroll High School head volleyball coach Doris Elizondo has ended without resolution.

What does that mean?

It means CCISD officials continue to employ subtle exclusionary phrases within their statements in effect disclaiming the CCISD officials from accountability while the Caller Times spin quote, misquote, decieve quote Carroll Principal Bobby Templeton:
"Carroll principal: Elizondo not reassigned" and coupled it with, "Players, fans gather to protest volleyball coach's possible exit" illustrating the appearance of a festive event (due to the percieved positive outcome) in the Article's Title

"Carroll principal: Elizondo not reassigned
Players, fans gather to protest volleyball coach's possible exit"

This technique is used to foster hope; "reassuring" the Public, while buying time & digression are the real underlying motivators. Actually,........ right now; at this time, Carroll High School head volleyball coach Doris Elizondo is NOT being transferred.

  • Carroll High School head volleyball coach Doris Elizondo currently is not being reassigned, according to one school official. CCCT
  • Carroll High School principal Bobby Templeton said Wednesday that "as of today, no final decision has been reached by this school district concerning the reassignment of Coach Elizondo."
  • "Coach Elizondo, and all other coaches and administrators, are fully aware that reassignment of job duties is a possibility," Templeton added. "Since this is a personnel issue, we cannot comment on specific details. However, issues have been raised by parents, staff and community members concerning her actions, which prompted my investigation into these matters."

CCISD officials are denying recorded statements from CHS Athletic Director Terry Morris, who told Elizondo that "she would be reassigned in May". CCISD Officials are counting on the inadmissibility of tape recorded conversations and in undeclared admissions are saying "YEAH BUT, YOU CANT PROVE IT".

Is that the kind of people we have working for us?

Like Susie told Mr Elliff, She was here when Dana WIlliams was Superintendent and she described the relationship. She was here when Benson was Superintendent and Now D Scott Elliff is CCISD Superintendent. We will still be here when he is gone.

What happens when one has a accident in a company car?...............

and he dont work for the company?

You state:
"I have not attended a Carroll H.S. athletic event, nor contributed a dollar since my daughter graduated in 2000, hardly qualifying as a "huge" Tiger anything.'

Why not tell Mr Heitkamp's daughter that, "You are not "huge" Tiger anything"?

  • You claim, "I have no interest in the controversy" yet you interjected postulates to the contrary:
    • To which side of the controversy does the following statement lean, "It seems to me that concerned parents should have some level of interest or concern, right or wrong, while letting the authorities make the decisions"

    • "That to me is not politics."

    • I gotta call it like I see it Danny. that is just plain bullsh/t.

  • Let us revisit the statement, "But when outside political special interest groups like LULAC & the GI Forum get involved, that's all about politics"
Why did LULAC and the American G I Forum need to "get involved"?

And why did I write to you, "I believe an apology is in order."

A: Because a powerful political agenda was grinding up a little person who was in the way. The little person was perceived to be in the way of the installation of a young athlete not quite ready to be installed. But money & power cannot buy what has to be earned. That is why you should apologize.

Was there a whisper last year to bump her up to the varsity?

Did Van Matre pass it on or make it happen (and then vacate)?

Did Mr H meet with Mr Elliff with gestures of killing a CCISD bond election?

We already know Mr Elliff passes the hot potatoes to the Cervantes Group?

So who sent the A D?

Cervantes or Elliff?

Maybe, you are an outsider and have absolutely no idea what I write about herein; however, I find it highly unlikely given the circumstances.

Just an outsider's opinion eh? The coach of the Mary Carroll High School Lady Tiger Volleyball Team is being forced out for a reason and you claim to have no interest in the controversy" however, you make several inferences in stating, "I have not attended a Carroll H.S. athletic event, nor contributed a dollar since my daughter graduated in 2000, hardly qualifying as a "huge" Tiger anything."

Now we are getting somewhere and yes indeed, you do have a dog in this fight.

  1. You did support the Mary Carroll High School Tigers and their athletic program.
  2. You have attended Carroll H.S. athletic events
  3. You did, "contribute" financially to Tiger Athletics.
  4. Finally, Mr. Heitkamp's daughter is on a winning Lady Tiger Volleyball Team and evidently Mr H is a huge fan of the Lady Tiger Volleyball Team and Tiger Athletics in general. I say this alone qualifies you as an interested party.

You have the balls to respond; thanks for the joust. You also have my respect and while the initial email was addressed to many; the message is for a select few who will receive it from good, loyal, team players such as yourself.

Thank You

Mr. Kenedeno,

I have no interest in the controversy.  However, I find it interesting that you say "Politics have no place in high school athletics"....yet, here comes LULAC & the GI Forum????

It seems to me that concerned parents should have some level of interest or concern, right or wrong, while letting the authorities make the decisions.  That to me is not politics.  But when outside political special interest groups like LULAC & the GI Forum get involved, that's all about politics.

Again, just an outsider's opinion, but you might consider rewording that "politics" statement.

Mary Carroll High School

Wake up boy and girls, Politics have no place in high school athletics. Who would transfer a winning coach right before the season begins and more importantly why? Once the Article is written it will be published and all of the research connecting the dots to the ones who leverage bond finances and campaign finances for a position that can only be earned.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LULAC Council No. 1 and the American GI Forum will hold a press conference to address concerns regarding the forced transfer of Mary Carroll High School Volleyball Head Coach Doris Elizondo; who holds 149 wins and 5 losses as well as 5 consecutive District Championships and 2 undefeated District seasons while at Carroll High School .

Certain members of the Carroll High School Boosters have pressured Carroll High School Administrators to transfer Ms. Elizondo for reasons that have not been made clear or were either not presented to Ms. Elizondo in a timely fashion; allowing her to address or correct them.

LULAC Council No. 1 and the American GI Forum feel that Ms. Elizondo has been denied due process within the CCISD administration and therefore, her civil rights are being violated both by the school's administrators and those members of the Carroll High School Boosters who have targeted her for removal.

The press conference will be held in front of Mary Carroll High School (on Tiger Lane side in front of the school offices) at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 .
